Welcome to Virtual WHIP 2021!
This year’s all-virtual program will feature cutting edge science in immunoparasitology from colleagues across the globe. As always, our program will showcase the best and brightest trainees, working in a variety of areas that touch on all aspects of the host-parasite interaction. We are thrilled to have Dr. Donna Farber (Columbia), Dr. Marion Pepper (U Washington), and Dr. Steve Beverley (Wash U) as our incredible lineup of plenary speakers. As with our in-person meetings, Virtual WHIP will also be a forum to support collaboration, networking, and career development. Please continue to check back here for more information on the program, registration, and abstract submission. While we all hope that WHIP 2022 will be an in-person event, we are excited to embrace the opportunities an online event presents. In particular, we hope to expand our community globally, using inclusive technologies and a program structure that makes content and participation possible for colleagues worldwide. If you are a returning WHIP participant, we look forward to catching up at the meeting. If you are a new participant, we welcome you to our wonderful community of scientists.
Best, Elia and Jude
