Mammography

Welcome

On behalf of the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors, I welcome you to the 2021 Mammography Continuing Education Training Program! We are excited to offer this important training virtually this year!

We appreciate you taking time out of your busy work schedules to come together and thoughtfully engage with the instructors and your colleagues in this important training program. As always, the training agenda is outstanding, and I know each student and instructor will leave with new knowledge from the educational content provided, and the sharing of ideas and experiences. It seems breast cancer has directly or indirectly impacted almost every family in the U.S. We commend you for your dedication in ensuring that all mammography’s should be performed at the highest quality level.

On behalf of all the attendees of this training session and CRCPD Board of Directors, I want to thank the volunteers from the H-11 Committee on Mammography who put this outstanding agenda together, specifically Regina Kissinger (Chair), Pam Platt (ACR), Mary Ann Spohrer, Ashley Menard, Warren Freier, and Shannah Farish. This program is also the result of the continued support from our colleagues at the American College of Radiology, American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and we greatly appreciate their partnership.

The CRCPD’s Committee on Mammography has assembled some of the nation’s best physicians, physicists, radiologic technologists and medical professionals to provide this outstanding training session. We are deeply grateful to every presenter who cares so much to come here and share their knowledge and skills.
