Childcare
Please click the button and fill out the form below by June 10, 2024 if you intend to request reimbursement up to $595 to defray the cost of childcare arranged on your own during the JMIH 2024 meeting in Pittsburgh.
The JMIH is committed to providing support for childcare for attendees. In recent years, we have provided on-site childcare to allow delegates to travel with their families. In recent years, use of the on-site childcare has been low. Because the 2024 JMIH is expected to have lower attendance than in recent years, we have elected not to hire an on-site childcare provider for 2024. However, we still recognize the need to provide childcare support. Conference attendees that are members of ASIH, AES, or HL may therefore apply for a grant of up to $595 to help defray expenses they incur using childcare arranged on their own. Childcare arranged on their own is defined as (1) hiring a local childcare service* OR (2) bringing a family member for the purpose of caring for a child or children.
To qualify for a childcare reimbursement, you must click the button and fill out the Google Form below by June 10, 2024 AND submit receipt(s) for the childcare costs to etaylor@calpoly.edu by July 26, 2024.
