Student Volunteer Program
GUIDELINES
Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your application to participate in the Student Volunteer Program for the upcoming Annual Meeting. In order to be eligible for Student Support you must fulfill all of the following:
- Be an undergraduate student member or graduate student member of one of the sponsoring societies for 2023/2024.
- Complete the application form in its entirety before the deadline (May 6, 2024)
- Provide up to one-half day of assistance to JMIH during the Annual Meeting, as described below. Failure to fulfill your obligation will cause immediate cancellation of your support.
- JMIH Student volunteer opportunities include:
- Working at the registration desk
- Assisting the session moderator

Click hereRegistration Support: The program will award financial support only in the form of a waiver of registration fees. If you are granted registration assistance, your registration fees will be waived for the meeting. 2024 Student Volunteer Program recipients will not pay registration fees then be refunded after the meeting. Instead, JMIH will waive the fee upfront. Do not register on your own without the promo code. If you register after you have applied for the student support program and you do not use the complimentary code a $20 fee will be deducted from your refund.
Students who are granted support will be notified by email within 1 week after the 5/6/2024 deadline. Please plan to attend an in-person training meeting prior to the annual meeting on Wednesday, July 10 from 4:30-5:00pm in Room 406 Lecture at the Convention Center.
