Welcome
Welcome to the 11th FAIS African Congress of Immunology which will be held from 1st-5th August 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we postponed this congress from December 2020 until now, and which will also be held virtually. However, we wish the spirit of Malawi to come through – as the congress was to be held there originally. We have assembled a fantastic line-up of plenary and symposium speakers from across the globe. We welcome you to submit your abstracts and to make this a truly memorable congress.
Being virtual, we have been able to keep registration costs to a minimum and every student who submits an abstract will be eligible for a scholarship that will waive registration fees. Our Organising and Scientific Programme Committee will judge the quality of abstracts and high scoring ones will receive a full or partial scholarship.
We are also very aware that not everyone who wishes to attend the meeting can necessarily afford the registration costs – so we have introduced a waiver scheme which everyone can apply for.
