SICB/TCS/AMS member rates:

• Full Member – $75
• Postdoctoral Member – $50
• Student Member – $25
• K12/Community College Teacher Member – $25

Non-member rates, but joining:

• Full – $75 + $110
• Postdoctoral – $50 +$55
• Student – $25 + $50
• K12/Community College Teacher – $25 + $50

Non-member rates:

• Full Non-member – $185
• Postdoctoral Non-member – $105
• Student Non-member – $75
• K12/Community College Teacher Non-member – $75

Reduced rates for members and non-members from Low-Income and Lower-Middle Income Economy Countries (as designated by the World Bank):

• Full – $40
• Postdoctoral – $20
• Student – $10

SICB traditionally does not profit from its annual meeting, and this year is no exception—the registration fees have been set as low as possible to cover the costs of the virtual meeting and are less than half the fees of prior SICB in-person meetings.

Registration fees will be used to cover the costs of the online platform (which includes technology and cybersecurity needed to offer large numbers of live and on demand presentations over an extended period), to cover the costs of staffing and supporting the meeting, to support presenters and attendees as they navigate this new format, and to fund SICB’s efforts to make the meeting more accessible for students and for a more diverse group of participants through the Charlotte Mangum student support program and other initiatives.

Note that the Virtual Annual Meeting will be substantially less expensive for SICB to put on, so the registration rates are substantially lower; for comparison, last year’s rates for SICB members were $345 (Full), $235 (Postdoc), $115 (Student).
