Welcome
15th ICIRD 2025 presents a stimulating and critically important scientific conference on reproduction and development of invertebrates and calls for proposals for symposia for this 5-day conference and scientific networking event.
Theme
The overall theme for the 15th ICIRD in Washington, DC in 2025 is:
“Reproductive Evolution and Diversity across the Invertebrate Metazoa”
Meeting Scope
Like past national and international ICIRD meetings, this Congress will cover topics ranging from basic cellular, molecular, anatomical, and ecological mechanisms of invertebrate reproduction and development to applied science topics on aquaculture, disease vectors, climate change, biodiversity, and esthetics. Investigations into the evolution of sexual and asexual reproduction, regeneration of invertebrate bodies, larval biology, and invertebrate stem cells as they relate to reproduction and development are also welcome. This meeting is deliberately diverse and taxonomically broad within the invertebrate Metazoa.
“CELEBRATE ISIRD” PHOTO CONTEST
We are excited to announce a photo competition in conjunction with ICIRD 2025! The photo competition is sponsored by the journal Invertebrate Reproduction & Development – a journal focused on the ISIRD society. Contestants do not need to attend ICIRD 2025 to enter. The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to publish in the journal.
